Delivered in pre-cut lengths and labeled pieces, SmartRail is virtually a “plug-and-play” product. Connect each piece, attach to the desired area, and watch everything come to life.
SmartRail can be cleaned with any solvent and is 100% recyclable.
Warranty
When properly installed SpecTrim SmartRail products are warranted no less than 5 years from the date of installation against color fade.
HandRail
Spectrim Handrail is a classic ADA shape to provide the utmost in safety and support.
Spectrim Handrail offers the look and feel of real wood at a fraction of the cost. Spectrim Handrail features the same exclusive heavyweight film veneers (12-16 mil) used in our highly respected Molding and Wainscot Systems. These beautiful veneers are laminated through a process of heat and pressure to a Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) core. This process provides all the positive attributes of real wood without the issues of splitting, sap streaks, and knots. Unlike real wood rails, Spectrim Handrails install easily, won’t warp or discolor. In addition, the consistency of the film allows for easier material management.
Spectrim Handrail (1 1/2”x 5 1/2”) is available in all of our standard finishes. Non-standard finishes are available with a 1,000 linear foot minimum quantity order.
With Spectrim Handrail, you’ll begin to realize the advantages the very first time you install our system. The SpecTrim Handrail System makes installation easy by allowing for field cutting all lengths and adding finished ends. Finished ends are shipped loose to the job site. We offer a dowel location template that lets you accurately drill attachment holes after your handrails have been sized. The same method is used to join long lengths together. Insert the dowels and glue the ends to assemble. The result is a simple-to-install-system...a beautiful, high-quality product that offers great advantages over wood: improved durability, superior color consistency, and lower costs.
Warranty
When properly installed Spectrim Handrail products are warranted no less than 1 year from the date of installation against self de-lamination. Surface finishes are warranted against color fade for a period of 5 years.
